Become a dinosaur scientist and uncover some fantastic fossils.

Students take on the jobs of palaeontologists. Their busy roles include; hunting for fossils amongst things that are living, dead and things that were never alive, digging up dinosaur bones, reassembling a dinosaur skeleton, and matching the prehistoric animals to their habitats.

  • Explore and compare the differences between things that are living, dead, and things that have never been alive.
  • Identify that most living things live in habitats to which they are suited.
 
Aims and Objectives
  • Learn how fossils are formed.
  • Identify the difference between things that are living, dead, never alive and fossils.
  • Find out about the role of a palaeontologist and take part in some of the jobs they do.
